The one-way integration is included in Hiretual’s regular Enterprise package. You can locate your connected ATS on the Apps page under the Connected tab. By integrating, you are able to sync candidates to your ATS directly from the Hiretual app.
The Talent Data Cloud is a deep two-way integration with your ATS of choice that allows you to not only sync to but pull data from the ATS. Hiretual will make existing candidate’s profiles valuable by refreshing and enriching your data. It is an add-on service to our Enterprise accounts. The Team Admin can find the Talent Data Cloud configuration on the Admin Console page.
This article introduces the workflows of the two kinds of integrations and helps you decide which one suits you better.
What is a 1-way Integration Workflow?
The 1-way integration is included in all Enterprise plans and allows you to push candidates to your ATS once integrated.
Hiretual’s 1-way integration enables you to source and screen candidates while including your current ATS in your sourcing workflow.
After you create a project and generate your talent pipeline, sync or bulk sync the candidates’ profiles that match your expectations. You can either sync the candidate one-by-one through the profile:

In either case, you will be leading to a new pop-up window. Choose the ATS that works for you and then click on Sync to ATS button on the lower right.
Taking Greenhouse Harvest as an example, you will then be asked to choose the account on the ATS that you would like to export the candidate.
Then, select the application type.
After you confirm your choice, a notification page will appear to indicate the beginning of the syncing process. You will receive a confirmation email when it is finished.
If you are the Admin of the team, you will find a Settings tab after clicking on the Details button of the chosen ATS. From there you are able to adjust the Push Permission, Data Field Mapping, and match Hiretual Activity Fields with the ones in your ATS.
What is Talent Data Cloud’s Workflow?
The Talent Data Cloud is the 2-way integration feature that enables you to both import and export candidates to/from your ATS. Importing data allows you to manage old candidates through Hiretual and enrich their profiles with Hiretual’s sourcing functionalities.
After purchasing the package, the Team Admin is able to find the Configuration page of the feature under the Talent Data Cloud tab of the Admin Console.
If you are the Admin of the team, you can click on any listed ATS to enable Hiretual to import candidates for talent rediscovery.
You can set the number of profiles and the type of candidates that you want to import under the import tab.
After you confirm the settings, Hiretual will start the import process immediately. You will see an Import Summary under the tab of the selected ATS.
Depending on the number of profiles you have, the process may take weeks. When it is finished, the Admin is able to view the ATS insights and candidates sourcing metrics of imported candidates from the Talent Data Cloud Dashboard.
Hiretual will automatically deduplicate the files that are over 90% similar. You can also manage duplicates manually from the All Candidates site.
Candidates from your ATS will be located under the Recently Pulled from ATS tab and will be available only to you and your team. Hiretual will NOT collect the data or share these candidates’ information with other organizations.
Recruiters can then start sourcing inside the imported talent pool by selecting ATS as the sourcing channel from the AI Sourcing page.
You can also check the enrichment of the candidates' information when you click on their profiles.
Under the Check profile/resume section, you will find an ATS logo indicating the source of the candidate. Additional social links will appear on Connect on socials part. On the right, you will be able to see the Academic/GitHub Performance, Insights, and any other reports that may apply to the candidate, just like when you are sourcing from open webs. Hiretual will also enrich and update other parts of the profile, such as the candidate’s work and education experience and any patents/publications.
The new Contact Information will be listed in blue links and it takes ONE CONTACT CREDIT to unlock the details per candidate. All original contact info is shown as uncovered and will not consume your contact credits.
From there you can use the collaboration features to edit the candidate’s profile or to track the activities of your teammates. You may also Sync/Export the enriched file back to your ATS. This will consume you ONE EXPORT CREDIT.
In comparison to the one-way integration, the Talent Data Cloud feature gives you complete control of your ATS’s talent pool with the added AI sourcing tools offered by Hiretual. It allows you to rediscover candidates from current and past jobs in your ATS. It also helps you deduplicate, refresh and enrich your data across systems and re-engage with your candidates via new email addresses or social channels. In this way, you can collaborate with your teammates on Hiretual and manage the candidates in your projects along with candidates sourced from open webs.
