Along with the largest available candidate pool, Hiretual also offers options to import and refresh existing data. This can be a very helpful tool if the data in your ATS/CRM is out of date. It also provides more flexibility to the sourcing projects, as you can manage your candidates from variable sources within one system.
You can locate this function on the lower-left corner of your screen, below the list of your recent projects and ATS candidates. By clicking on Add Candidate(s) here, you will get access to all three ways of importing candidates. As an Enterprise user, you are able to import up to 1000 candidates every year using this feature.
You can find the instructions and uploading functions on the next page. Before you start, remember to check the box to confirm your agreement on Hiretual’s Data Processing Addendum before you start, otherwise the Upload button will not work.
Import with a single spreadsheet file
To import candidates in a spreadsheet file, your file will need to be in either CSV/XLSV or XLS format. Make sure you put Column Headers in the first line of your file and each row needs to contain an email address or a social link.
You can also use Hiretual's import template to sort the candidates’ data. You can choose to assign or create a new project for these candidates and put them in one of your recruiting stages.
After uploading the file, you will be prompted to match the field columns accordingly. You can use the drop-down menu to rearrange the information.
By clicking on Review Import, you will see a sample of the candidate’s data filled in. You can then Confirm and Submit your file.
Your data will then be processed and you will receive an email notification when it is completed.
Import with resume files
You can also import candidates by uploading their resume profiles. Powered by the most intelligent resume parsing algorithm in the industry, Hiretual transfers unstructured resume contents to structured data fields to enable fine-grained search and AI sourcing.
To do so, you can simply drag and drop your candidates’ resumes to the block below. Hiretual now supports PDF, DOC, DOCX and TXT formats and the maximum single file size is 10 MB.
If you are uploading one resume at a time, you are able to edit it before adding it to your projects.
And your candidate will be ready to view after you click the Add Candidate button at the end of the profile.
Import candidates without resumes
Hiretual also offers the option to add the candidate’s information manually. You can find the link to Add a candidate without resume on the upper right of the importing candidate page. And it will lead you to a form where you can edit the details of the candidate.
When you finish, you can assign the candidate to a certain project or leave it blank, just as in the cases of the other two importing ways.
You can view all the imported candidates within the All Candidates page by filtering the sourcing channel of the candidates as "Import" in the drop-down filter menu.
