There are multiple ways in which you can flexibly leverage Hiretual's Locations filter. It can recognize the name of the city, state, country, metro area, and even the continent. For the U.S. locations, you can also simply type in a zip code, and Hiretual does the rest for you. Below are some workflow examples to reference.
Adding Multiple Locations
You can always add multiple locations to enlarge your talent pool as well. Putting neighboring cities is a commonly adopted trick.
If you're trying to look for candidates with the same skills/job titles in different cities or countries, you can either put them together or source them separately in each individual task using the "Create a Similar Task" tab, which is always recommended.
Add targeted locations to the filter. You can even add lists of cities and regions and save them for future use.
Once you save it, you will be able to add the cities to your sourcing filter with one click.
If you choose to Add this list automatically for future sourcing tasks, the cities will appear on your Location filter when you open the General filter page. You can still edit it manually.
*Please note: for all the added lists on the AI Sourcing page, you can include up to 200 entries in one list and apply 5 lists in total. In other words, a total of 1,000 entries can be added to these filters.
If you start by sourcing multiple locations within the same task, you can still later filter the candidates within your pipeline by locations, under More Filters. Then, you'll be selecting candidates from a particular location of your preference.
Start by sourcing one location at a time. You also have the flexibility to Exclude certain locations - it could be a city, state, or zip code (U.S.). For example, you're sourcing candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, but want to exclude candidates in the city of San Francisco because you know the commute isn't doable for most.
Similarly, you can Add/Edit Lists to exclude certain locations while sourcing.
You can use the bookmark to save your search and change the location on the Search Results page.
Select the Range of Locations
Another way to expand your talent pool in addition to adding locations is to adjust the range/miles of a particular city, metro area, or state. Please note, it's not applicable to entire countries, continents and/or states as the border strictly defines the location range.
