It’s very common for companies in the U.S. who are unable to “sponsor” candidates hence requiring them to have a GC (Green Card), EAD (Employment Authorization Document) or be a United States citizen.

While we do not have an explicit filter in Hiretual to source for these candidates with a particular working status, we do have a workaround!

I would highly recommend using our “Mandatory” skills section to search for the following phrases:

US Citizen

U.S. Citizen

United States Citizen

Green Card

Green Card Holder

GC Holder

Permanent Resident Card

Authorized To Work In The United States

Authorized To Work In The U.S.

Authorized To Work In The US

Authorized To Work For Any Employer

Citizen Of The United States

Employment Authorization Document

EAD

You can then add the other job requirements such as title, related skills and any other filters.

(Tip: Remove “Recruiter” or TA professionals via the “Excluded from current title” filter. Many bench sales recruiters will list these phrases in their profile.)

In the sample set of candidates you will notice these phrases/keywords appear first under the tag section.
